Privacy Policy
Last updated: August 2026
This policy explains what data Reachem handles and how. We aim to collect the minimum needed to run the service.
1. Data we hold
For account holders: your email and business profile. For contacts a business collects: the name, email, and phone that a person submits, or that the business owner adds or imports.
2. Roles
For contact data, the business owner is the data controller and Reachem is the processor acting on their instructions. The business owner is responsible for having consent to contact the people on their list.
3. How data is used
Contact data is used only to deliver the business owner's own broadcasts and to run the features they use. We do not sell, rent, or broker contact data to anyone, in any form.
4. Email and tracking
Broadcasts are sent through our email provider. We may record whether a message was delivered, opened, or clicked to show the business owner basic analytics. Unsubscribes are recorded and honored.
5. Storage and security
Data is stored with our infrastructure providers with access controls and row-level security so each business can only reach its own data. We use encrypted connections.
6. Retention
We keep data while an account is active. Contacts can be deleted by the business owner, and account data is removed on account deletion, subject to legal retention requirements.
7. Your rights
Depending on your region (including NDPR in Nigeria and POPIA in South Africa), you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your data. Contact us through the app to make a request.
8. Changes
We may update this policy as the product changes and will update the date above when we do.
